Holzwickede Eco Port Süd

The ECO PORT is the first port of call for state-of-the-art service providers, manufacturing companies and research and educational institutions. Internationally active corporations such as Rhenus AG and ZF Friedrichhafen AG are just as much at home in the ECO PORT business park as technology-orientated small companies. The Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Westfälischen Baugewerbes (Society for the Promotion of the Westphalian Construction Industry) has set up a training centre in ECO PORT and the Westphalian Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office will build a new laboratory building there. The Unna District Economic Development Corporation (WFG) is now planning the southern expansion of the area in co-operation with the municipality of Holzwickede.
 

With a prime location between Dortmund and Unna, right next to Dortmund Airport, the ECO PORT South offers excellent infrastructural connections and an attractive working environment in a dynamic economic region on an area of 9.5 hectares. A marketable area of 7 hectares is available for the establishment of companies. The 17 plots vary in size between 2,000 and 8,000 square metres. Work on developing the area will start at the beginning of 2025 so that the first companies can start building at the end of 2025. The aim is to attract innovative small and medium-sized enterprises from the trades, manufacturing and service sectors that will create new jobs and contribute to value creation.
