On site, 35,000 m2 of logistics and industrial space, 1,800 m2 of office and social space and 2,700 m2 of warehouse space are being created, divided into 4 hall sections from 8,200 m2. The challenging site of the former stone factory has been undergoing extensive revitalization since 2021, with a focus on sustainability. A large proportion of the demolition material was recycled, extensive soil remediation work was carried out and the piped oil mill stream was renaturalized. Panattoni is aiming for DGNB Gold certification for the new building and is focusing on numerous sustainable measures. These include photovoltaic systems, rainwater harvesting and natural outdoor areas. Wildflower meadows and nesting boxes promote biodiversity. The environmentally friendly façade design and harmonious integration into the site make the project a role model for sustainable commercial and industrial development.
